It is that time of year again!
The Vancouver Lifeguard Association welcomes members and friends to the 2012 season. We invite all Lifeguards in the lower mainland both indoor and outdoor to become active members in the promotion of water safety, lifesaving and lifeguarding in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland.
The VLA is very pleased to announce their new home base at Kitsilano Yacht Club. With this partnership, new opportunities for VLA members will be available including a place to meet, hold workshops and pursue advanced training practice.
The VLA would like to announce the successful launch of the Vancouver Junior Lifeguard Club. The ‘Ospreys’ swim twice week at Hillcrest Aquatic Center and will join the Lifesaving Society’s Jr. Lifeguard Telegames. These kids are fast!!
As Lifeguards, working as a team, we are hopeful that the VLA will continue to grow and be active participants in our communities through the prevention of drowning and the promotion of Lifesaving and Lifeguarding Sport.

• $25 for new membership - CPR-C RECERT INCLUDED
• $15 for members who volunteered 3 times last year
• $20 for all new comers

You can renew your membership at the meeting in order to be a member in good standing.
